'Dangerous Liaisons' is a stage adaptation by Christopher Hampton of the novel by Choderlos de Laclos.

Although the novel was published in 1782, it tackles issues that remain relevant today, such as the abuse of power, consent, and how money can buy almost anything. Valmont and Merteuil, the protagonists, are two fascinating characters and rivals to one another, who use sex as a weapon of humiliation and degradation, whilst enjoying what they consider to be a perverse game.
