Alfonso Losa is the most authentic contemporary representative of the Madrid school of flamenco dance and the essential link between his teachers and the younger generations: Having reached the height of his artistic maturity, he has succeeded in developing his own artistic language, through which he is able to convey the most authentic elements of traditional flamenco dance using the new codes of contemporary dance – of which he is one of the architects.
