Agreement to promote the digitalisation of SMEs and entrepreneurs 20 October 2026
Fuenlabrada Town Council and the Madrid Association of Metal Trade and Industry Companies will organise conferences, workshops and other training initiatives
Fuenlabrada City Council, through the CIFE and the Acelera Pyme Office of the Madrid Association of Metal Trade and Industry Companies, has signed a collaboration agreement to promote the digitalisation of the city’s self-employed workers, entrepreneurs and SMEs.
They will organise activities, training sessions, workshops and other training initiatives focused on key areas for business digitalisation, such as artificial intelligence, process automation, cybersecurity, digital presence and improving productivity through the use of new technologies.
The aim of this collaboration between the two organisations is to facilitate local businesses’ access to knowledge, tools and resources that will enable them to successfully tackle the challenges of an increasingly technology-driven environment.
The first event will be the seminar ‘From WhatsApp to voice: how AI is transforming customer communication’. It is aimed at entrepreneurs, the self-employed and SMEs interested in discovering the possibilities offered by AI in this field. Real-world applications and practical examples will be showcased, covering tools such as WhatsApp, voice agents and process automation to optimise customer service, streamline business processes and generate new business opportunities. Information and registration for the event can be found via this link.
The Acelera Pyme Offices are an initiative of the public body Red.es, which reports to the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Civil Service, and which is allocating 29 million euros to drive the digitalisation of SMEs, the self-employed and entrepreneurs throughout Spain.
This support is funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
