Weekend programme for 21 August 2026
Free leisure activities for this weekend
We’re continuing to enjoy ‘Los Veranos en la Pollina’, which is opening its doors to us once again this weekend – both tonight and tomorrow night – with refreshing musical performances to help us beat the night-time heat.
A municipal public space dedicated to leisure and outdoor enjoyment, particularly for children, but which organises activities throughout the year aimed at both young people and families.
Set in natural surroundings, it combines green spaces, play areas and activity zones where workshops, camps, film screenings, concerts, parties, puppet shows and other events take place throughout the year.
Tonight, at 10.00 pm, a performance by Amigos Desconocidos. A pop-rock band from Fuenlabrada, made up of young musicians from Escuela de Calor, bringing a fresh sound and songs full of good vibes.
Tomorrow (10.00 pm) it’s the turn of Jarabe de Pau, a tribute band to Jarabe de Palo with a polished, high-quality show that respects the essence and musical legacy
of their most unforgettable songs.
And for younger audiences, there’s summer cinema and theatre. Also at La Pollina (Family Edition) on Sunday at 8.00 pm, we can watch the play *Alicia y Garabato: la Maleta*. Alicia welcomes us into her bedroom just as she’s packing her suitcase to go on a trip.
And on Saturday at 8.00 pm on Calle Ilustración, there’s a summer cinema screening of the film ‘Anzu, the Ghost Cat’, recommended for children aged 7 and over.
All these activities are free of charge.
