The Casa de la Música in Fuenlabrada is hosting a dramatised reading of Washington Irving’s famous short story ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, or The Headless Horseman’, directed by Víctor Matellano and starring two leading figures from the world of dubbing and acting, Luis Posada and Camilo García. The performance will also feature music by Javier de la Morena.

This is an opportunity to rediscover this literary classic through a production that combines acting with live music, recapturing the mystery and atmosphere of one of Washington Irving’s best-known stories.

The reading also has a very special connection with Tim Burton’s film adaptation: Luis Posada was the Spanish voice of Ichabod Crane, played by Johnny Depp, whilst Camilo García voiced Reverend Steenwyck, played by Jeffrey Jones. Now, both are reuniting with the story of Sleepy Hollow in a different format and on stage.

An event celebrating literature, performance and music, inviting you to delve into the haunting legend of the Headless Horseman.
