  2. Bob Pop visits Fuenlabrada with his show ‘Talking is pointless. It’s no use’

In addition, the ‘Sòmion’ puppet show and a new Circo Abierto performance this weekend

This weekend, Fuenlabrada is hosting a play by the columnist and television presenter Bop Pop, a puppet show that won a Fetén award this year, and a new circus performance as part of the Circo Abierto Festival. Three interesting cultural events to enjoy in the city over the long weekend.

Bop Pop, known for his television and radio appearances, amongst other things, presents ‘Hablar no sirve. De Nada’, alongside Daniel Bayona. An impossible monologue that turns into a conversation with his carer on topics such as love, the body, words and the passing of time, which makes us question the way we communicate and relate to one another. It takes place on Saturday 10th from 8.00 pm at the Tomás y Valiente theatre.

On Sunday the 11th, ‘Sòmion. The City of Impossible Trades’. Winner of the 2026 Fetén Award for best puppet and object theatre show, Sòmion takes us on a journey to a city where every trade is unusual. A family-friendly show with live music where anything is possible thanks to the power of imagination.

Earlier today, Friday, the Festival de Circo Abierto continues its programme at the Josep Carreras Theatre. From 8.00 pm, ‘La Casa del Conde’ takes to the stage. A circus comedy combining pole dancing, aerial acrobatics, aerial lamp acts, spinning sticks, acrobatic bathtubs and live music.

And for younger audiences, a new episode of the ‘No Todo Vale’ podcast, with its blend of humour and current affairs, at the Casa de la Música, also today at 8.00 pm.

All the activities can be found on the Events page of the council’s website.
