  2. La Pollina is hosting the tenth edition of ‘Pueblo Fantasma’, the family Halloween festival

We’re also celebrating Halloween at the Espacio Joven la Plaza, Loranca and Miraflores Park

This Saturday, 24 October, the La Pollina Municipal Centre will be transformed into a Ghost Town. This marks the tenth edition of the traditional Halloween Family Festival, which each year kicks off the spooky celebrations taking place in our city at this time of year.

A free event aimed at children and their families, featuring the latest trends in leisure and entertainment. From 11.00 am to 6.00 pm, visitors will be able to step into this spooky village, where a range of activities will take place, including haunted houses, workshops, performances and concerts.

This initiative, now a well-established part of the town’s Halloween programme, is organised by the Department for Youth and Children and the Arbifuenla Association.

The Councillor for Youth and Children, Javier González, has invited everyone to take part in “a day with a difference, where fear gives way to laughter, fancy dress and socialising. An opportunity to enjoy an immersive experience designed for young and old alike.”

ONFuenla Terror Party

Meanwhile, local teenagers will also have their own party. The La Plaza Youth Centre is hosting the ONFuenla Terror Party, a themed Halloween party aimed at young people born between 2011 and 2014, on Friday 23 October.

From 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm, participants can enjoy music, DJs, a spine-chilling atmosphere and plenty of surprises. The event is free and includes a complimentary soft drink. Tickets can be purchased at entradium.com.

Halloween in Loranca and Parque Miraflores

On Saturday, two Halloween parties will also be held in the Loranca-Nuevo Versalles-Parque Miraflores district. There will be activities for children and families, plus a haunted house from 5.00 pm at the Loranca Cultural Centre and from 6.00 pm at the Parque Miraflores Cultural Centre.

Finally, please note that various children’s and youth organisations in the city are organising haunted houses from this Friday onwards, and that the Halloween programme will continue until next weekend. Full details and the programme are available at juventudfuenla.com and under ‘Events’ on the council’s website.
